Last week in the front part of this note I mentioned that I knew when I would buy/sell regardless of direction and my $ES/SPX futures and $NQ/Nasdaq futures weekly support levels were both tested at the end of the day on Wednesday after the FOMC decision. Here is the hourly price action for the week, along with my intraweek ‘key’ of 7340.50-7350.50 marked out:

Similarly (and maybe more spectacularly), here is how my $NQ/Nasdaq futures 27254.75 level performed against price action:

On Wednesday right after the market close I alerted to both weekly levels hitting support in the Discord, posted the weekly charts and longed there:

It was a spectacular week buying these levels. ✅🎯💰

I continued/continue to believe that $GC/gold futures has done just enough to be constructive for higher, but $GDX/gold miners and $SI/silver futures look more questionable. This week I once again outline what each needs to exceed in order to look bottomy.

I have a surprising intermediate bias for $CL/crude oil futures and outline why I think what I think and what I am looking for.

Summary of Market Action Last Week:

· The indices futures gapped up on Sunday evening but then pulled back and chopped into Wednesday. After the FOMC announcement, indices put in lows on Wednesday and bounced into Thursday. Friday we saw an afternoon rally, but despite a green week, July failed to close green for $ES/SPX futures.

· $GDX/gold miners closed red, despite indices and $GC/gold futures showing relative strength.

· $CL/Crude Oil futures gapped down on the open, but then bounced substantially from lows. Still, we saw a red close for weekly crude. $XOP/oil equites was the relative strength winner for equites last week.

Here’s how last week closed out:

I broadcast hourly charts with weekly and daily levels 23/5 on Discord while futures are open. I give commentary and positioning during market hours.

For the week ahead (8/3 – 8/7/26)
