Last week I finally got the $ZB futures/$TLT bond trade I was looking for. If you follow me on Substack I gave my entry to all followers. Here’s an updated chart:
Possibly related, last week was also all about ‘last chance’ support for precious metals. Those levels I gave last Sunday worked extremely well:
I mostly scalped the indices. We saw a significant breakout in $ES/SPX futures last week – but it was not dramatic. This week is all about holding that breakout – or not.
Summary of Market Action Last Week:
· The indices rose at the start of the week, dipped and then rose into the end of the week. Ultimately $ES/SPX futures broke out and closed higher than ever before, but $NQ/Nasdaq futures barley held gains and $RTY/small caps futures closed red yet again.
· Precious metals finally bounced back, but there’s more that need to happen to secure last week’s bottom.
· $CL/Crude Oil futures closed slightly higher in choppy trading, but $XOP/oil equites was the outperformer for the week once again.
Here’s how last week closed out:
I broadcast hourly charts with weekly and daily levels 23/5 on Discord while futures are open. I give commentary and positioning during market hours.
